Das Schiebefenster
Back in the 1920’s, world famous architects Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius and Richard Neutra laid the found - ation for a new, revolutionary space concept.
They opened up the building structure and disposed of spatial restrictions in the architecture. The «flowing room» was born, and is still inspiring architects all over the world. Instead of the solid wall that used to separate the indoors and the outdoors there was now transparency, a transition that was as seamless as possible, from floor to ceiling and wall to wall using fixed panes of glass and/or sliding windows – an aesthetic eye-catcher to any observer. Sky-Frame, the fixed glass and sliding system, meets the requirements for the creative implementation and continued development of the visions of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and his contemporaries in the new millennium. Sky-Frame, the frame - less high-tech window, opens up rooms up to four metres high and complies with all of the usual regulations and the highest of standards.
